Hanami (jap. "watching blossom") is the Japanese tradition of celebrating the beauty of cherry tree blossoms in spring. A unique scene is shown by the millions of fruit trees on the Swabian Alb: "The Swabian Hanami". In spring the cherry, plum, pear and apple trees unfold the blossoms to a beautiful flower and blossom parade.
Celebrate with us and enjoy this magical time at one of the flower festivals, flower walks and other paradise events. The area between Neckar and Alb with its trees has around 26.000 ha. The 1.5 million fruit trees are a special pleasure at any time of the year on the Swabian Alb.
